• February 19: There have been over 8,000 visitors to the website in the past month! Thank you all for helping build up the website in the past months. • October 31: Today we launched a wiki dedicated entirely to Spanish materials. You can find it at http://es.gospeltranslations.org. Thanks to all of our volunteers who have helped make this happen! Please let us know as you find things there we can improve.
• October 17: We would like to extend a very warm welcome and thanks to some of our newest translators: Amy Elias (Arabic), Ana Villoslada (Spanish), Flavia Martins dos Santos (Portuguese), Natalia Pedrosa Garcia (Spanish), Pasqual Jabaloyas (Spanish), Ruth Lyssette Santos Westphal (Spanish), Sarah Karambiri (French), Thomas Menz (German), and Yiting Lee Pacheco (Spanish)! They have just completed their first translations. We also now have a German Resources page and a Romanian Resources page. Thank you to Jutta Wege and Ecaterina Cherdivarenco for helping us!
• October 6: Gospel Translations turned 1 year old on September 24. We now have 633 translated resources online, 272 volunteer translators enrolled, 26 active languages, and a content database of over 1000 articles, chapters, and sermons to translate. Thank you to our partners and volunteers for making it all happen!
• September 18: Translators, did you notice the new translator's handbook link on the left menu? We're developing that to help you do your job more easily. Please take a look and tell us if you have suggestions to improve it!
  
• September 16: The Romanian translation of Why Small Groups? has been posted. A very big thank you to the Metanoia Church for this translation and to Marge Tamboer for uploading and formatting the text!
• September 2: Gospel Translations now has resources online in 26 languages other than English. Thank you to all our dedicated volunteers for helping make that happen!
• August 19: We now have over 100 resources in Portuguese and over 280 Spanish resources. The first traditional Chinese translation has just been posted, as well. Thank you, translators and uploaders for generously giving your time to make these resources available! We're also happy welcome our newest translators, Peter Herzog (German), Andrea Lazarova (Slovak), and Jonas Braga (Portuguese).
• July 31: Welcome to our newest translators: Felipe Chamy (Spanish), Dagnia Tooth (Spanish), Abeneazer Gezahegn (Amharic), Maureen Okundi Aseno (Luo), Roberto Freire (Portuguese), and Regina Guimaraes Trigueirinho (Portuguese)! Thank you all for joining us! We now have translations in 20 languages and over 250 translated resources available. Thank you all for hard work!
• July 2: Our first Japanese translation was recently completed! And a big welcome to our eight newest translators: Pascal Blin (French), Géraldine Husser (French), Anna Judák (Hungarian), Brinda Runghsawmee (French), Yen Nie (Bahasa Indonesia), Victor Guo (Chinese), Lianala Andrianjatovo (French), and Jutta Wege (German)!! • April 1: Interested in learning how you can get involved in other ways besides translation? Check out our new How to Help page that lists both general needs and more specified needs such as programming and web/graphic design.
• March 28: A big welcome to the newest members of our team: Kelsey Smith (wiki admin) and Chris & Joy Alfred (Yoruba)! This past week, translations were begun in Italian, Hungarian, Spanish, Bahasa Indonesia, Yoruba, Cebuano, Portuguese, and German. Translations were also completed in Chinese and Korean!

• March 14: Our first Hungarian translation was begun this week, while translations also got underway in Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Chinese!

• February 9: Our first Telegu translation was completed this week, while translations were also begun in Spanish, Korean, French, and Arabic! A big welcome to our two newest translators, Sung Eun Kim (Korean) and Ernest Osuchukwu (Igbo)!
• February 1: Our first Hebrew translation started this week, and translations also commenced in Spanish, Portuguese, Telegu, Magar, and French. A big welcome to our two newest translators, Asaf Pelled (Hebrew) and Fernando Macena (Portuguese)!
  
• January 28: Welcome to our six newest translators: Sylvia Yessenia Gonzalez (Spanish), Christian Rekowski (German), Roberto Freire (Portuguese), Giulliana Tessarin Almeida (Portuguese), Paul Chintada (Telegu), and Jose Sanchez (Spanish).
• January 23: Did you notice the new homepage? Now visitors to our website are immediately given the option to see our Spanish Resources. Muchas gracias to all of our Spanish translators who have helped to make this possible!
• January 17: Our 6th Russian translation is under review! January 15: Our 4th Italian translation and 2nd Portuguese translation are now awaiting review! And a big welcome to our newest translator, Yang Ye (Chinese)!
• January 14:Our migration to our new web servers is complete now--thanks to everyone for your patience over the weekend as we made the upgrade.
  
• January 9: Our 16th Indonesian translation is now complete and awaiting review, and a big welcome to our two newest translators: Rodrigo Correia (Portuguese) and Dorval Riveroll (Spanish)!
• January 8: Our first Japanese translation is underway, and our first Portuguese translation is awaiting review!
• January 4: Our first German translation is now in progress!

• January 2: Our fifth French translation has been completed and is awaiting review!
• January 1: Happy New Year to all of our translators! Thank you for helping to spread the gospel in all the world's languages, and serving other Christians across the globe with your talents.
  
• December 19: Our sixth Chinese translation has been completed and is awaiting review!
• December 13: We now have 13 Indonesian translations in progress!
• December 12: We have assigned reviewers to go over the Spanish translations we've completed so far. Once we have 10 articles reviewed and approved, we'll publish our first resources page in Spanish!
• December 6: We continue to add new translators across the 8 languages we're actively working in. This week marked the addition of two new active Chinese translators, and another in Russian as well!
• November 29: We've launched a new home page design that we hope will make it easier for translators to get plugged into our network and begin working on projects. If you can think of any improvements, please let us know!
• November 29: Gospel Translations now has more than 40 active translators in a wide variety of languages--Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Russian, and others. Thanks to everyone for the contributions you've made over the last few months!
