Welcome to Gospel Translations!
a project of Open Source Mission
This website is a project to make biblical books and articles freely accessible in as many languages as possible. We accomplish this by partnering with Christian publishers to build our own free resource library, and then recruiting and equipping volunteer translators to convert those resources into a variety of other languages.

You're currently at the English portion of our site, which serves primarily to facilitate translation and review before resources are formally made available. It is our hope to launch sites in many other languages that will host the projects completed here. Already, we've started projects in Arabic, Spanish, Russian, Bahasa Indonesian, and many other languages!

If you'd like to get involved, please just use one of the links on the right--either for multilinguals or English-only speakers. We'd be honored to have your help, however you can lend it, in proclaiming the gospel in every language and to every nation.

  • March 23: Today we launched a wiki devoted entirely to Portuguese! Thank you to all our Portuguese translators who made this possible, and our partner Editora Fiel for donating so many wonderful articles to us.
  • March 17: Welcome to our new translators: Veronique Clifford (French), Anna Fominykh (Russian), and David Laberge (French). Thank you all for joining with us in this ministry!
  • March 4: A very warm welcome to our two newest translators: Patricia Aquino (Spanish) and Silvia Silva (Portuguese)! Thank you for helping!
